This cartoon on page 289 from What Matter in America by Gary Gargarian. Talk about how America is eating themselves to obesity and that can have a major effect on your health, like various heart diseases and type of cancer. . Its depicting how America is getting very lazy to find time to exercise.

Cambodian Odyssey

A Cambodian Odyssey by Haing Ngor, Historical, New york, NY 10103, The Warner and The Macmillan Company, 1989 published. This book take you on a journey throughout Cambodia in time where it was one of the most peaceful place on earth and the most horrific place  on earth. The life and family of Haing Ngor(the author,) Ngor Kea( father,) Lim Ngor( mother,) Chang My Huoy( wife) and what he went through to survive the Khmer Rouge Regime torture. The torment he witness with little kids not even old enough to drive, carry AK-47, pistol and missile launcher, shooting random pedestrian in the head for not following order that the little kids command and the fight for communism. Haing is one strong man to endure that much pain. I learned that this book give me a great inside on what my parent went through, without the entire sugar cote. It make me look at them in a different perspective on how they, act, communicate. When he got his Doctor degree and started to save lives. I would definitely recommend this book to somebody. This book has romance, struggle, pain, evil, death.

momey= success

To me in way money dose equal success, but it depend on the field or career you enter. If you were making money being a business man and you was successful but not happy, does that mean you're success, than in other way money doesn't equal success. People view success in a whole different perspective such as family, work, school, religion, so it all up to you what success mean and it doesn’t have to do anything with money. Most American does think money does equal success.

"PBS Culture Shock."

Yes I believe video is an expression of art projected into graphic video game because a lot of creation went into making the game. A lot of detail orientated process and discussion was thrown back and forth over what is acceptable for the consumer and stepping on subject that most people fear on talking about. I did not find any of those images offensive at all to me because art has no bounders or limitations, if it did Picasso would've never be famous for his art work that he created. No because for me when I look at images, it easy for me to tell if I like it or not or should it be on somebody homepage on the Internet. The quote in the web page was very interesting but it did not pa sway me in anyway or form. I think for some people is an out let for their aggression and stress from work, school, their boss, their parents, etc, and some have a different in mind. Some think that video game can be imitate in real life scenario because they see it on video game and in their mind they think it OK, but in actual reality they suffer the consequent of imprisonment or death by lethal injection.
